Thirteen members of The BorderCounties Vintage Grassmen are going to drive tractors around Ireland travelling through every county on the way. The Friends of Carrick Cancer invite people to take part in the VHI Dublin City Mini Marathon on Bank Holiday Monday June 6th and donate the money they raise to Carrickmacross Cancer Society. A coach will leave from the Shirley Arms Hotel at 10.00am on the morning of the 6th.

Carrickmacross Cancer Society Chairman, Pat Drury welcomed over a hundred people to the Annual Public Information Meeting in the Shirley Arms Hotel on Thursday, April 7th at 8pm. In his opening address Pat sympatised with members of the audience who had lost relatives and friends in the last twelve months.
